I switched from Budge specifically because I wanted a cleaner app, but had to go back because Lunch Money is missing one critical feature: credit card utilization tracking. What I need: Ability to set a credit limit for each credit card account Display of current utilization % (balance / limit) Overview widget showing total credit utilization across all cards This is a standard feature in personal finance apps. BudgetBakers, Budge money pro shows a beautiful Credit Limits Utilization widget with a donut chart displaying total balance owed vs total credit limit, and per-card breakdown. For anyone managing multiple credit cards, knowing your utilization % at a glance is essential — both for financial health and credit score management. The current workaround of manually calculating (balance / limit) is not acceptable for a daily-use finance app. Please add credit limit field to credit card accounts and utilization % to the Overview page.

Support importing individual investment holdings from Plaid

Custom notes for each account: it would be nice to have a place to write things like loan interest rates, anything important to remember about an account, etc.

From the help page I found that now you have to add two transactions to each account, s opposed to one transaction of a value from one account to another account. Adding the two transactions is a bit tedious. I am starting to set up Lunch Money and I am getting a little lost have to add two transactions for each transfer I did. I am adding the data for 2025 and I have many transfers.

Need to see account balances of bank accounts and credit cards in addition to transactions in one CSV for AI financial analysis.

I have a checking account for my business that I want to count toward my net worth, but don't want transactions imported or categorized for personal budget purposes. Would be great to have the option to exclude transactions from budgeting on an account-by-account basis.

Currently once an account is closed, we cannot rename the account at all. To rename a closed account we have to currently open it again & save > edit the name & save > close it again & save. It's a lot of unnecessary steps. It would be beneficial if we could still edit account names for closed accounts. Fields we should be able to edit include: Account Name Display Name Institution Name Account Type Account Subtype

Would be nice to add a url, and clickable icon, to account configs so one can one-click nav to any configured online banking page from any lunchmoney account page or from the list of account. For example on the home page if i hover over an account name, an external link icon should appear, so I can pop open the banking page in a new tab--with one click. On the Accounts page the external link icon could be in a column. It should only appear if it's been set up in the account details.
