Auto-import investment holdings

This would still be really helpful for me, even if the holdings are initially just shown as simple metadata on the account. Some investment accounts out there only support one OAuth connection at a time, so currently when I want to look up my holdings somewhere else like Empower, it breaks my Plaid connections. I wouldn't have to deal with that mess if I could just look up my holdings in Lunch Money.

I'd like to understand whether I can know my cash balance on my investment account to differentiate what has been invested and sitting in cash - any update?

I wonder if there have been further plans on importing investment holdings. Even if they're not shown on UI, I think it will still be highly valuable if exposed through APIs, for those with multiple investment accounts. Thanks!

I got a dividend payment today, just in time, and it came in uncategorized. I figured maybe there was no auto-category for dividend income since this is very new but there is and I do have it set. This is my Plaid metadata which is a lot shorter than regular purchase transactions; among what's missing are the "category" and "personal_finance_category" parameters.

@Jen as mentioned on discord, LM automatically started importing these individual transactions from my TD Ameritrade accounts w/o asking for opt-in. I didn't sign up for beta or anything - LM just started doing it. I had 100+ transactions load in and get mixed in with my payment transactions. Please make this opt-in for investment transactions, without removing the ability to have our investment account balances linked for NW tracking.

Investment transactions (not holdings) are now supported for our beta testers in the US and Canada! To join the beta, head to https://my.lunchmoney.app/community. Join our discord to follow the discussion, and use the normal bank syncing flow to report any issues.

Hopefully we get this soon?

The main feature I'm looking forward to!

Yes, I totally support importing investment holdings. That's the main feature this lacks. Otherwise super happy with Lunch Money. I honestly like it a lot more than Mint and I'm glad for the switch. I run my own business and figuring out tax deductions for all the different expenses is a breeze now that Lunch Money is in my life

I would like to voice my strong interest in this also - particularly investment transactions, not just holdings. I siphon a portion of my pay checks directly into investment accounts, so without this, my income level becomes distorted by the lack of those transactions and it throws the budgeting numbers off entirely.
