Transfers between accounts

From the help page I found that now you have to add two transactions to each account, s opposed to one transaction of a value from one account to another account. Adding the two transactions is a bit tedious. I am starting to set up Lunch Money and I am getting a little lost have to add two transactions for each transfer I did. I am adding the data for 2025 and I have many transfers.

If you are creating transfers between two manually-managed accounts, you can use the "Create Transfer" option to quickly create both sides of the transfer in one go, please see here: https://support.lunchmoney.app/finances/transactions/transaction-actions#how-to-create-a-new-transfer
If you are using synced accounts as well, and have one side of the transfer automatically imported, you can create the second transaction by clicking on the first transaction, and in the side panel, clicking on "Create a Transfer".
