Customize transaction notification emails

When you set up a rule that sends out an email notification for any transaction that matches the rule, you should be able to completely customize the contents of the email.

Hi matteo sisti sette! Thanks for writing in. Would you mind elaborating on the type of content you'd like to be able to customize in the email? Anything in particular that you'd like to see added, changed or removed?

Din from Lunch Money No, I'd like to be able to set up the subject and body of the email MYSELF, using variables from the transaction data. For example, say I want the subject to look like this: "XXXXXX | -11.74 EUR | 2026-10-09" where XXXX is the value of the "note" field from the transaction. This is both for human use (I look at my inbox in Gmail and can see what all my transactions are at a glance without opening individual messages) and for automation (I could forward these emails to a server script that processes them).
