Split rule for equal payments over time

lunch money allows to split an individual transaction in equal amount of times (ex: $ 1200 split evenly in the next 12 months so $ 100 per month, aka amortization). It would be really cool to have this feature within the rules as well. currently split rules only allow % or amount split

I have an expense that happens every 3 months and I want to set up a rule that automatically splits is between the three months. I can split it in 3 now, but they will all stay in the same month. Could the option be added to change the date of a transaction automatically?
