After creating new rules, have some way of approving them. I like to keep my rules organized and LM often creates too many rules. They're too specific, so I have multiple rules which could be dealt with in just one, less specific one.

I've recently gone through and deleted all my rules to start from scratch, disabling autocreation of new rules. A checkbox for each rule with ability to delete or disable would certainly have made this easier (and less scary if you weren't going the nuclear path I was). I think manually creating rules is a good exercise but also exposes some of the flexibility I wish LM offered: OR conditions and ability to perform an operation more than once (for example, matching multiple payees) are the two most important to me.

Lol, very true. Every transaction that I categorize makes a new rule. So every now and then I have to clean up the hundreds of rules

hahah I agree, but I do find them very helpful when I do repetitive tasks and LM notices. My one gripe with rules is that sometimes I end up with many rules affecting the same payee, for example. I would be great if there's a way to merge them together, almost figure out if two rules are affecting the same payee then merge them and just have two conditions?
