I use Lunch Money with a mix of automatically imported data and manually imported data. Because the automatic imports come in first, the dashboard on the homepage often becomes heavily skewed: transfers show up as received income before the corresponding outgoing transfer exists, and expenses or income appear inflated until all sources are fully updated.

It would be really helpful to have the option to set a “data cutoff date” (either manually or automatically). The dashboard would then only calculate insights up to that date, ensuring the data is complete and consistent. Once all transactions are in, I could update the cutoff date to refresh the dashboard.

I know it’s possible to look back in time, but having inaccurate charts by default significantly impacts the overall user experience.
