To make it easier for new users or those just getting started with budgeting, have a way to quickly set all budget page settings in one click (budget period, rollovers, based income on setting, starting balance, category group budgeting).
This could also work similar to the setup dialogs when just getting started with a new account, with straight-forward answers and drop-downs, such as:
  • What would you like your budgeting period to be?
  • Do you want to rollovers all funds to the next period? General Pool or Same category?
  • Would you like to start with an initial balance to budget with, beyond this period's income?
  • Would you like to budget based on expected income, true income, or both?
  • Would you like to track any sinking funds / savings? (Select existing categories or create new ones).
  • etc.
