Multiple budgets
complete

I'm using lunch money for both business and personal budgets. I set it up so that I have a "Business" tag and a "Personal" tag, as well as business / personal categories. I'd love to be able to have two separate budgets and be able to see Income vs Expenses based on categories or tags. I set up a view in Analyze queries, but I love the visuals & planning aspects of the budget page. Same for the Home Page, I'd love to be able to have multiple views or data sets (like Analyze) to see all categories/tags in one or individually as far as what's come in already and what's predicted.

Jen from Lunch Money Is there any way to move transactions into another budget? My understanding here is that someone would have to connect their cards multiple times and manage their expenses twice if you wanted to do what Katya was requesting.

Drip Test
Chris Moreau Hi! Unfortunately, there isn't currently a way to "move" or "share" transactions between budgets. Each budgeting account is in its own silo and independent of each other. If we see enough interest in a feature like this, we'll consider it for sure!

Drip Test I hope you guys will consider that. Feels like a huge opportunity, as of now this tool cannot really be used for a household, every time i need to pull this data out to manually handle the totals between my wife and I I'm left wondering what other tools might exist that could replace this and provide us with what we need.

Working on a brand new feature that will allow each Lunch Money account to switch easily between multiple budgets!

Multiple accounts in one

I keep my personal bookkeeping separate from our household bookkeeping. Currently the only way to do that in LM is to create two accounts, under two different e-mail addresses, paying €100/year for each.
Now I love LM but, €200/year is just a bit much. So I would like to be able to keep multiple sets of books using the same LM account & password.

Another use case for me would be "Personal" and "Family" budgets -- my wife and I have shared accounts which then give ourselves a fixed income for each of us from our shared budget. So I'd love to be able to have two separate budgets -- for myself and another separate one for our shared accounts. Today I could do this but I'd need to have two accounts with two monthly fees and I couldn't switch between budgets without logging out and back in.
