I'm out with my wife and she wants to buy our friend a $60 gift. Do we have the budget for that? I'd love a mobile friendly view to quickly check how our budgets look for moments like these.
Something like what Mint has, but with Lunch Money's much improved look and feel that it has elsewhere :)

I clearly don't do frontend work at all (or js for that matter), but I wanted a simple mobile-friendly page to show the budget so I can add it as a mobile shortcut.
All client-side js, token is saved as url param for easy linking (but obv, don't share the link with untrusted folks).

Yep, this is the only thing I'm really missing on mobile. Everything else can wait till you have a moment to actually sit down and balance. But being able to check your (shared) budget in a glance would be awesome

I agree. A clean overall view without having to pan left to right would be such a nice clean upgrade on mobile.
