Hello,
Thank you for the alpha release of custom budget periods, it helps a lot for bi-weekly budgets!
In the middle of a budget period, I often use the "Budget Breakdown" box in the Overview page to confirm what is still available in my budget for a given category. Now that we have custom budget periods, I feel like it would be great if we could set the budget period as the period for the Overview page using the dropdown on the same page. If we could further set it as the default period for the overview page, it would be perfect.
Would this be possible, and, if yes, would it be better for me to open a new feature request?
Thank you!

This would be very helpfull. Managing a monthly budget where allocated funds are paid at the end of each previous month - meaning that for direct trends it would be helpfull to have a reporting period from 25th to 24th.

Maybe this would be a generic solution to the multiple requests for annual or at least greater-than-monthly budgets.

I second this, currently my budget is from the 26th of previous month to the 25 of the current month. I currently use power bi to track historical trends and this is what I have so far. I chart by the budget day or day in the budget period so from 1-30 on a graph and compare from this months to last months expenses so you can see day to day spending wise if i need to slow it down or not.

In india financial year starts from 1 Apr and ends on 31 March. I would love if I had the ability to set the budget for the financial year and get visibility against that financial year.
PS- The tool is awesome :)
