Budget by tag, merchant, account, etc

Currently, budgets are created from categories. This is the most obvious use case, but there are scenarios in which I would like to be able to create budgets from tags, merchants, or a combination of all of these. I believe this is something that Copilot does well.

Came across another interesting feature request to allow creating a budget for a particular bank account!

Jen: yes this is definitely requested. I would like to manage multiple bank accounts but for example my wife has different budgets than I do.

Jen: yes I would like this as well. Would be nice to make filter the budget by account and I think it would work this way.
