Auto-budget greater than monthly (i.e. annual) recurring transactions

I would like to auto-include the monthly dollar amount of a recurring transaction with greater than monthly occurrence so I can have a more accurate budget without impacting my actual cashflow.
If you have an annual subscription, like Lunch Money, your actual cashflow is only impacted once a year. However, you should technically be budgeting for it every month to build up a "fund" in order to pay for it.
If you create a "split" transaction that spans 12 months, this gives the perception that you actually have that dollar amount leaving your account every month, which is not true.
It would be great to be able to include "calculated" amounts from recurring transactions in a budget.

I second this. Its one of the features that has kept me with YNAB for so long. I like not having to worry about yearly expenses, since I can just have X dollars a month automatically assigned in my budget. This sort of aligns with Goals as well, and would be a nice crossover. It'd be cool to see some reporting as well that shows your progress for your defined "goals" or non-monthly recurring expenses.
