I recently had an issue where no transactions were imported from one of my accounts for a couple of months before I noticed this, but the "status" column in the Accounts page still said "Active." When I opened it up, the panel showed a warning in the "Status" section with something like "It's been a while since ...", but Plaid and LM still thought the connection was working. And I only noticed this because I was updating my budget-for-the-year spreadsheet, needed to get per-payee totals for some line items, and noticed some items that I knew to be automatic payments were missing.
I would like a feature that detects when there hasn't been any data imported from an account in a certain amount of time and notifies the user (ideally both on the main landing-page screen, like broken connections and unreviewed transactions, and by email unless that's disabled) to review this. I imagine that the "review this" interface could include a button to say "there just haven't been any transactions in the last [however long]" and dismiss the warning until another interval elapses, but an email notification is for me the more important piece.
(The broken-connection notification feature was https://feedback.lunchmoney.app/accounts-assets/p/send-email-notification-when-account-stops-syncing , completed in March 2024.)
