My Chase syncing happened through Oauth and was fast. I linked a smaller credit union (BECU) and my Amazon store card through Plaid (not Oauth version) and both of these are still syncing hours later.
As a user it makes me wonder if it's stuck or queued or something since I have a mental model that downloading a couple hundred transactions shouldn't take hours.
If you have some task metadata from Plaid that's great, but even if you happen to know "this usually takes a day or two" that would help let me know when to give up.

Update - I think these were stuck but clicking some of the buttons in account settings ("try to fix account" / "trigger a fetch") worked.
