Quick search should not disappear when a different date range is selected

Not infrequently, I want to search for a bunch of transactions and do some bulk action over them in the Transactions view. I'm only doing simple searches that could be served by the quick search toolbar, but because I want to search across all time and not just the current month, I have to open the search modal to change my search each time, which takes several more clicks and distracts me from what I'm doing.
Instead, the time range selector and quick search bar could stick around when any of the non-default time range options are selected. Then I could just leave the selector on "All time" and do the searches I need one after another without bringing up the filter modal.

I see, so the text search is now hidden in the Filters modal. Having to open it, select "General search" and enter the text takes a few extra clicks and even after then when the popup is closed, you still can't see the Text search!
A trick is to
first
type text in the Quick Search and then change the date (but still then, the Quick Search text disappears so it makes it unclear whether it's still applied or not). That's critical in my workflow, since due to another bug on auto-categorization (https://feedback.lunchmoney.app/bugs/p/transactions-auto-categorization-almost-all-transactions-are-considered-generic), I have to write a bunch of rules to make the app worth it (otherwise it will categorize less than my bank app, and detailed categorization was the bug plus for me to use it), so I need to test various filters before confirming my rules.
I'll be waiting for the end of my 30 days of trial and see if this bug, which is currently the most voted one, can be fixed by then.

Just added my vote to have this prioritized.

I don't understand the existing behavior at all, or why anyone would prefer it. Your suggestion is how it should work.

Transaction Page Month Selection Disappears

When on the Transactions tab, if you change the Month to any value, when the page refreshes the ability to see or change the month dropdown disappears.

Allow quick searches on expanded date ranges

From the transactions page, I can enter a search term into the quick search box, and then expand the date range from the dropdown. However, if I start by expanding the date range, the quick search bar goes away and I have to launch the filter dialog. It feels like the quick search should remain available when selecting a different date range from the dropdown.

Quick Filter visible for "this year" filter

Proj. Fronteiras
On "Finances -> Transactions" I would like to use the "Quick search" even when a select the period "this year".
Nowadays, the Quick Search field is visible when I am seeing the current month, but when I change the select field to "this year" the Quick Search field and also the filter select filter disappears.

Currently BOTH the quick search and the time range selector disappear when a non-default time range is selected. Ideally BOTH should stick and not disappear.
I wonder if this can be seen as a bug?

If I type in the quick search bar first, then I can change the timeframe. However, it is weird to not be able to do it in the reverse order.

I just hit this roadblock myself trying to clean up transactions, would be great to expand quick search timeframes to at least the previous year.
