Add new recurring item without Merchant Name or Paid By option

When adding a new recurring item, it would nice to not have to specify Merchant Name or Paid By option. One example is buying yearly home insurance:
- I don't necessarily buy from the same merchant every year (insurance shopping)
- I don't necessarily use the same credit card every year
- I buy around a specific time of the year and it will be tagged its own category (ie. Insurance -> Home Insurance).
Currently, I have to specify the Merchant Name and a Paid By option. This partially works for me, but then when I try to apply the recurring rule, it tries to rename all my merchant names of my past yearly purchases, which I want to preserve.
