A feature of YNAB that I enjoyed was that it would read my current location and auto-suggest the one closest to me.

The way payees were linked to locations was as follows: When I entered a transaction in the app, the chosen payee was marked with a location icon that I could remove. If I left it on and saved the transaction, the current position was saved to the payee (only in the app, the desktop app did not know anything about payee locations). The next time I entered a transaction and the app figured out my location, it auto-filled the payee closest to my location. (You need consider that sometimes the GPS locating does not work or takes a while.)

Additionally, there might be multiple payees close by, e.g. in a shopping mall. So when I edited the payee because it was the wrong one, the first suggestions were the payees with a location close by, not the usual ordering.

Sometimes I did not want to associate a location with a payee, e.g. when I was at home and added some transaction. So there needs to be a way to opt out of associating a location with a payee. We would also need a way to edit payee's locations. In YNAB this was a bit clunky, since it was only possible by editing the payee and next to each nearby payee suggestion there was a button to forget its location.

So all in all, this is quite a complex feature, but it worked often enough that I really liked it.
