I would like this just to monitor my family's spending and how close we are to hitting our monthly spending budget, as well as share it with other family members daily so they can see it as well.

I would suggest either making the frequency customizable, making it only happen when there have been transactions since the last email, or both; I expect I'd quickly learn to archive-unread a daily email to the effect of "there's nothing to report," and thus miss an email if there a fraudulent transaction ...

There's already an email alert that is triggered whenever transactions are imported, but for anyone with more active accounts than mine (and especially accounts where transactions reach Plaid more quickly ...) I agree that a daily digest would likely be desirable. Perhaps combined with the "this account hasn't been successfully updated in a while" notification that another user requested.
