I have a lot of recurring expenses that are annual, quarterly, bimonthly etc. sometimes only for a span of a few months (then they stop). If I want to know when I'm next due to pay a certain bill, it's really hard to find: I have to page through my recurring items month by month, and scan down a dense list of 20-30 items until I find what I want.
It would be great to show a kind of cash flow based on budgeted amounts and/or (I'm imagining a toggle) recurring items, over weeks/months/years. Maybe selecting a recurring item pops out a modal that lets you search for all instances of it, past and future. Maybe selecting a budget shows you what you spent and what you budgeted for that category in the past, and what you've budgeted month-by-month in the future.
