Transaction date field shouldn't automatically save when typing
complete

When manually typing the date in the Transactions table, the cell will automatically save after a numerical character is typed or when pressing backspace.
When creating new transactions, this means that it automatically skips to the category field, and you have to keep clicking back into the date field to type each character.
When editing the date on existing transactions, it would save immediately after pressing backspace and would change position chronologically so you have to locate it again to keep editing.
Ideally, it shouldn't automatically save when manually typing. It should only automatically save if selecting a date from the calendar.

This was addressed in release #252, and the date field no longer auto-saves when typing during transaction creation! 🎉
Thanks to everyone who reported and voted on this!

Unable to type in the date when adding a transaction

When entering a manual transaction I often don't enter the transaction on the date the transaction has occurred, which is the default 'date' that appears. When I try to type the date manually, after typing 1 number I get bounced to the next box (category). This is really frustrating and really impedes the flow of entering transactions. I am only able to enter the date by either selecting it with my mouse or using the copy and paste function..

I'm kind of surprised this still hasn't been fixed. It's been over 3 months since a developer responded to me about this bug - still nada.
I have to manually add all transactions because none of my banks are supported - it's really hindering my entire workflow when using lunch money. Please can this be addressed ASAP.
