Query Tool: Year to date, total value, group by month, category

When I try to get a report of my spending using the query tool, with the report output format, the totals does not use the final grouped transaction value in the sum, rather it only does a simple sum of ALL records in a category.

When using the raw transactions page, the filtered total uses the correct grouped total value.
