When doing a "general search" you should be able to paste in a number with a comma and still get a valid search result.

General search for "5,000" will now return results for transactions matching 5000 in amount.

Hi Michael Bianco, I think the tricky thing with that is "general search" is easiest done with string matching. If you want to search by number (assuming a monetary value), I'd suggest using the "Expense" or "Credit" filter (although I just checked & that also doesn't gracefully handle commas in numbers)

Jen from Lunch Money: Yup, that makes sense, although in this case the search failed to match anything with the comma. Maybe you could match against the number without any formatting characters if there are no matches
with
the formatting characters in place.I know I can use the other fileters, but it's a pain/takes more time.
