Changes made to a recurring item don't reflect in the rule
Din from Lunch Money
On the Recurring page, changes made to an existing Recurring Item details (eg. Payee, Category, Amount, Account) are expected to apply to the associated Rule as well. Currently, the Rule remains with the original parameters.
If 'End date' is set, and the date passes, the rule should also be deleted to prevent future transactions from getting linked to the recurring item.

Also RE end date: I would not recommend deleting the rule after the end date has passed as that would cause freshly imported transactions before the end date to not get linked to the recurring item. Instead, keep the rule and add a way to compare the end date to the transaction date.

This bug makes the recurring items functionality almost useless. I have a bunch of recurring items that have changed over the months but are not auto-categorizing transactions as expected. Recurring Items as an automation feature are really powerful, but not if I have to redundantly update system rules as well.

Please fix that!

This defect has been around for nearly a year now? I'm hoping this behaviour is changed sooner than later please.
